Status report

The game is on.

I have drawn the role of the Lord of house Montague, and my valiant defender is a co-author of this blog.

I've spent most of the game, and the time leading up to it, in near constant communication with Black Kitty.

I believe her that she intends to remain neutral, however I am concerned - perhaps too greatly - for her safety because I am sure every faction will attempt to gain her loyalty. Hell, I am wondering how much of my conversation with her is out of the genuine enjoyment of having found a new friend, and how much is hoping she will ally up? But before then, I have to be honest about my house and perhaps my role, and I am not sure if that's a good idea just yet.

Three times per game I can check to see if players are in my family.

Players who I would most like to know about are BoDCat, The Humble Grasshopper, and The Stupid One. TAP and Link are attracting a lot of heat and I suspect they are going to get lynched early in the game - using my check on them is possibly a waste.

The main thing I am wrestling with is if I should tell BK who I am. I believe I should, but perhaps the real question is 'when'.
